How long have you been working at SOPREMA and why have you chosen this company?

I started at SOPREMA in October 2017. I chose this company as I found it challenging to be in a company in such an expansive stage. I think there are great opportunities for development for the employees here, and it’s interesting and exciting to follow. SOPREMA has a strong owner family with many years of experience in the industry and is constantly developing in new areas.

What does your typical workday look like?

That’s very different from day to day. I usually start the days taking care of work of a more continuous nature, payments, invoices etc. Then my work is controlled by what comes into the e-mail, what period of the month it is etc. I need to quickly “change hat” as it can be anything from personnel issues, finance issues, reminder management, salary management, financial statements etc.

What do you like most about your job?

The variety of tasks and to constantly evolve, working with great own responsibility and at the same time feel the security of being part of a larger company.

What was your first impression of the SOPREMA-team and company?

At the head office in Helsingborg we are only 3 (soon 4) who are in the office every day, so it’s important that you feel comfortable together, and already the first day I felt welcome here. We cooperate very well and have fun together.

What areas would you like to further develop professionally?

Better utilization of our Group systems with adaptation for each country’s unique requirements for financial control. Policies within the personnel area that are adapted for each individual country.

What makes your work so unique?

Oh, that’s hard to answer. I think I’m good at seeing the whole picture and not getting too much into details. I’m probably pretty good at “changing hat” between different countries and work tasks for the moments. The experience I carry with me in both finances and personnel work is what’s needed in this position, which many times is on different positions.
