Self-adhesive membrane with a vapour-pressure and tension dispersion system, composed of SBS modified bitumen and a composite polyester reinforcement.

Long description, Frame of uses, Advantages

Used as an under layer within a multi layer waterproofing system on surfaces where partial adhesion is required.

Needed tools, installation instructions

Self-adhesive with partial torched overlaps (longitudinal partial self-adhesive and partial torched; transversal torched). On surfaces other than insulation, the surface is to be impregnated with ELASTOCOL 503 or ELASTOCOL 600.In order to obtain a good adhesion, the membrane has to be placed at a temperature above +10 °C. If placement takes place at lower temperatures, the upper layer is to be welded directly after the under layer was placed. The full bond strength is achieved after the application of an additional thermal activation (e.g. welding
upper layer).

Physico-chemical-thermical performances

Reinforcement: composite polyester
Finishing upper side: thermofusible film
Finishing lower side: silicone release film
Coating mass: SBS modified bitumen

Unit of packaging, dimensions, volume, weight

Dimensions of the roll (m) 10 x 1
Mass of the roll (kg) 38
Number of rolls per pallet 25

Quantity per pallet or box, storage precaution & duration

Pallets may not be placed on to each other during storage and rolls need to be stacked so they won’t bend. Direct sunlight and temperatures above +30 °C should be avoided at all times.
